Why "Texas BBQ" was trending in Japan (THIS is why you can't stop telling stories)

Something HILARIOUS is going viral on X right now.

For some reason, folks from Japan and people from the deep American South are CONNECTING.

Like seriously connecting in the funniest way possible.

Apparently, the auto-translate feature has been enabled, making all Japanese X posts legible to Americans.

(A huge population of Japan uses X -- who knew!)

Happy tears are being spilled, love is being built, and new friendships are being forged – over monster trucks, Arnold films, and above all, BBQ 🤣🤣🤣

The Japanese are saying things like this 👇

Which is getting auto-translated into this 👇

And both sides are loving it 😆👇

🤣🤣🤣

Apparently, BBQ was the #1 trending topic on Japanese Twitter for a while.

Yes, I am aware of the platform's controversial reputation (even some of the Japanese content gets politically spicy).

But this kind of wholesome cultural exchange? It was remarkable to witness.

And it drove home just how POWERFUL personal stories have become.

For a regular Texan, maybe a backyard BBQ is an every-other-weekend thing, but for the Japanese, the massiveness of our American meats and grills is simply MINDBENDING.

Your “average” stories now have a chance to be read by people all over the world, in their own language.

What you think is a “boring Tuesday” can potentially blow the minds of people across the ocean in a way that’s never been done before!

Maybe auto-translate is limited to X right now, but it’ll be ubiquitous in no time.

So keep telling stories in your weekly emails. And then segue them into a gentle sell.

Do not stop!!

We no longer want to read yet another piece about "5 ways to do X, Y, and Z".

But we ARE excited to hear about how Luke from Texas and Kentaro from Okinawa met on X, exchanged BBQ pictures, and are now pen pals with plans to meet in real life!

So now, the next question would naturally be...

"How the heck do you segue a story like THAT into selling something like brand photography??"

Well, that's exactly what my storytelling guide is about.

In addition to the guide itself (which is already a wealth of knowledge and examples), as a special bonus, I'll show you EXACTLY how I would segue the Luke and Kentaro BBQ story into selling brand photography services.

Curious?

Grab it here!

Please note, this special bonus story + segue will only be for those who buy through my email list (so subscribe below!).

Enjoy!
