All right, so some updates!
As per last week’s email, I started my Substack.
I wanted to get my first post out of the way so I can quickly see what this platform is all about.
And now, I just published my second post.
It’s how I’m thinking of integrating Substack into my content ecosystem.
I initially approached Substack as a way to create a paid newsletter for recurring income.
And I still want it to be.
But here’s the thing:
The vibe over at Substack is very different.
It’s softer.
A lot of stream-of-consciousness.
I’m seeing tons of “notes” like this (notes are like tweets, contained within the Substack platform):

And just like that, Substack suddenly transformed into a space that helps me get out of my head so I can keep moving toward my goals.
I’ve gotten 2 subscribers already, from 2 posts that I barely promoted. It’s wild.
It’s not quite what I intended it to be, but I LOVE it...
...SO FAR.
I can imagine my attention getting divided, and I may want to consolidate in the future, but we'll see.
Anyway, I'll keep you posted.
Second update.
I’ve been working HARD on my 5th Hidden Gems Copywriting Guide, and this one might be my best one yet.
The focus is lead magnets.
I’ve been hearing how lead magnets are DEAD, but I’m learning that they’re not.
And I have some super juicy info on how A-List copywriters are executing theirs.
I am translating what they are doing into simple lessons and a bunch of insights to help others create lead magnets that help turn freebie-seekers into actual buyers.
And the A-List Copywriters I’m featuring are executing on that promise bigtime.
I’ve been working on it since December 28 (ugh).
I am so ready for it to be DONE, but alas, there are a few final touches that are necessary.
