My daughter Ella’s speech is a bit delayed.
This means, she can’t sound out the “s” in certain words.
-
- For example, instead of “school bus”, she says “cool bus”.
- Spooky is “pooky”.
- Snack is “nack”
And instead of saying “scooter”, she says…
...well, you can take a guess lol.
Part of me is worried about this.
But another part of me LOVES THIS ABOUT HER SO MUCH.
Because, I agree, Ella, “cool bus” is so much cooler (and cuter!!) than school bus!!
(And ‘cooter is just hilarious.)
Did you know personal stories like this open doors to sales through genuine connection?
It’s because stories are warm, relatable, and, most of all, deeply human.
And in the age of AI, this is what is sorely needed.
But how do you segue a random story into a sales pitch without turning people off?
It’s not super hard, but it does take practice.
So, if you’re having trouble and want a shortcut, here’s something that can help.
Examples are the best teachers so that’s what I will share.
So, watch me spin this “Ella’s Cool-Bus” story to sell 6 different services like…
-
- Therapy
- Business Coaching
- Copywriting
- Graphic Design
- Charcuterie Board Service
- Even Lawn Care Services
First, you’ll see the “cool-bus” story.
Then, I’ll segue it into a sales pitch.
Just like this post.
When you’re able to do this, you’ll have endless, original, and very human content for your blog, email, or socials.
